I bought the 70 dollar physical item, one of the best role game purchases in all of my 40 years of role gaming. The physical item is as good as the print industry can make. I wish more games could master the art of putting all the design in a single book, and NOT then ruin it with a dozen other books that eventually you can't live without. Aside from superb adventure tomes, this is the only book you will need to play Warhammer FRP. And you don't really need the adventure tomes. The best thing about Warhammer FRP, is in my view, it is not a level based design, and players are not locked into a class design.

The magic isn't the same ole level based concept, and the characters can be several orders of magnitude more interesting than most rival designs. The monsters are more interesting. And you can be taken out with a barmaid armed with a beer mug regardless of how uber powerful you thought your PC was : The game books can See more be brutally expensive if you get over enthusiastic. But they are print friendly as most do just fine in black and white print outs. Merlin A August 07, pm UTC. I wish there was a version of this book with background images turned off.

There are some World of Darkness books I can't open in anything else, because they are so resource intensive it takes 5 mins to get around in Acrobat. Stuart N January 05, pm UTC. I first thought it was supposed to be the Master Tradesman, but neither have a Trade Talent. July 01, am UTC. I am assuming this book is focused on the Empire from looking at the expansions. Is there any plans to bring in Bretonnian knights or are they in the book?

I think it works better with miniatures, especially because of becoming engaged in melee combat is a big deal and there is also a outnumbering rule that might be difficult to do with theater of the mind. I am holding off on the purchase until I know this will happen. I don't even care how fast. I just want to know it will. ADAM B February 23, pm UTC. Sadly this will likely never happen. Incorporating errata requires re-formatting pages, updating indices, etc. It seems like it should be a simple adjustment of in-place text but if that text happens to change a column length or push something else into the next page or an art piece or figure no longer works in its new position then the entire book needs to be re-assessed. It can be done but when it is it is usually called a new edition due to the amount of time and work required. If this were not a pdf and the rules were more in the form of a Wiki similar to DnD Beyond for DnD 5e then updating errata would be super simple and done as it arises. Shane P February 24, pm UTC.

Sure, but there was a preview version. I get the amount of work involved. I could see if it pushed something to the next page etc. The suggestion I offered as a compromise was to maybe have the text highlighted in some way to show that there is errata or make a hyperlink in the text. Could they add the errata to the end of the PDF and have the link jump there or show up as a tooltip? I really don't know if any of that is possible. I don't need a perfect new copy. just some way to know something is off while referencing it. I think the PDF price is good but there was a LOT of errata IMO. Maybe I can annotate the PDF myself somehow?

I have not used them a lot in the past but I am likely to do most of my gaming online now. My 1st edition rules are full of stickies : Fingers crossed for something. Michael S February 27, pm UTC. Adding yet another voice to the request for an updated PDF that incorporates all the errata to date. alex C January 08, pm UTC. Mark H January 08, pm UTC. Well, at pages, you would think so!
